St Barnabas GFC 

St Barnabas GFC club has been in existence since 1972 and has achieved many great sporting honours, produced a host of great players that have gone on to represent the New York in many divisional levels, involved tens of thousands of people - players, patrons, supporters and sponsors alike - in its many activities, provided countless hours of enjoyment, (with no little heartache thrown in for good measure at times!) and some great great memories over the past 38 years.

 Perhaps most of all it has played and continues to play a pivotal role in uniting a local New York community.

St Barnabas is of course not unique as this pride is replicated in every club throughout New York, the USA and of course Ireland and in many other foreign communities and counties.

We would like to pay tribute to all the other local clubs and organisations and in particular those local gaelic clubs in New York and beyond whose friendly rivalry and fierce competition has helped in no small way to bring the Club to where it is at today.
